"Alzheimer talk to me in art" part of the program of accompaniment and support to people affected by Alzheimer's disease conducted in 2008 by LINC Lunel countries, initiated by Fabien Boissonade, host- LINC coordinator.
Painting is offered as support meetings at three workshop sessions where people are invited to participate in pairs CG helped. ARATOUSAGES becomes a partner in this experience through the General Council under the program "Ageing Well in the Hérault" .

Propose an experiment Intergenerational meeting between parents frail adults and their families through artistic activity focusing on the nonverbal dimension.
This is a targeted action without treatment.
discipline plastic proposed as support for meeting and communication, is one of abstract painting (not figurative). Abstract painting can begin its work, leaving aside the concern of the result, for this focus on the action of painting itself. It can be addressed collectively (two or three people working on one sheet) or individual according to the wishes of the participants.
pedagogy, methodology and procedures of 3 workshops
The methodology is based on a pedagogy of creation that allows each participant to capture "the way "the artistic medium and gradually build its own expressive universe. This pedagogy aims to highlight the identity and history of the individual in the idea to perform work on the image of the person (the image perceived by itself and the image perceived by others) .
The collective work can focus on the use of language as a medium to explore the relation to each other in the sharing of territories: listening, respecting the choices of another of its space, identity and acceptance and value of its present capabilities. The report of the body, gesture, spontaneity of gesture, the pleasure of making and doing together are the heart of the process.
Thus, apart from the information and notes of work proposed, the workshop participants (caregivers and helpers) are routinely asked about the conditions of progress each meeting, including the fate of works created, in order to ensure informed participation and ownership of up to action.
