What a great time! Rating

What a great time!
This magnificent time gives me a good opportunity to finish the season!
is a bazaar that's all! It's like when we had a party: you have everything back in order after! Placing the dishes, tables, wash cloths, remove strings, clean the house ..... and by the cleanliness we look back at the great party! In this one or that one! But also at the next party we will! Instead of putting the tables like this they will like that!
Well it like in the garden! We must, each flower bed, remove the remains of plants, taking out the irrigation pipes, extracting plastics mulching (and yes I still do not know but for those of plastics crap! I take part in biodegradable, but c is 2x more expensive and mostly I'm not sure they are not made with GMO corn!) work the land and sow the green manure. In my ideal garden, all this should be done in September / October! But I come Never! So this year the weather makes me the gift of a good time to do it. And as for the history of the festival as I think I can improve my systems. Ah, it took! And I'm really happy because I'm starting to see the end. And yes, this season I have not the energy of spring! Fatigue is fast there and the days are short! But it's like knitting: knit one after the other and suddenly the sweater is finished! The most important thing is to do these stitches! A little bit every day.
And what makes me very happy is that I can do as I like. And there's a real pleasure and it makes everything else work.
Both will receive the parcel that raspberries are starting to be on top! In the greenhouse, which will be planted raspberries upbound not, I am preparing since last year! Indeed, it was there that I expected the plant last year, then last fall, I had already started the preparation and finally it has been a boon to wait another year! My green manure could do its work
through. I did cut to its flowering in May. All summer he has covered the ground and this fall I was able, after the rain into the soil. And then the earth is the best! It's too good. Three lines will be planted. Each line a variety: it is the eternal question! All the same variety and harvest
like that is grouped into each basket and the quantity looks like something, but if there is a problem with this variety is all compromise and then if we collect all of a sudden, you have free up more time. So I always end up choosing diversity. Normally these crops of raspberries should have fallen when the strawberries are losing ground in early June. The greenhouse will be covered only
'Umbrella' and now I'm really happy because Jean-François (the gardener in the amap Dracénie) me given the vein to find the stuff to fix the plastic. I had this greenhouse equipped with a sprinkler on top to try to limit attacks on spiders tomatoes or strawberries. I've never reached a satisfactory outcome, but there I'll be able to pass this by my herbal garden and I'm delighted.
In open ground as it starts to get pretty. There will be three lines, three varieties too, just after the fig. The land is ready for the BFI (RCW fragmented). Last Sunday, Françoise and Jacques have come to spend some time and we started clearing brush from the neighbor to remove
all this shadow! Fabien peasant Tourtour myself ready (rents) are mill and the second week of December we will be able to activate! On each incoming line will be applied from the grinding cost of this wood alive is a contribution of organic matter while making a living contribution to fertilization. It will be incorporated into the soil gently and in February the plants will be planted. In
planting or just before when I prepare, will be composted. These raspberries are tonics. A small crop in the spring and a real harvest in late August. In 2010, we have some raspberries in the fall of the culture there. But it was in 2011 that it will start to be nice. Finally if all goes well! I made my
composts on the two sites. It went great! The spreader has derailed just a lil 'time! Must say we put the package: the Arthur mini-shovel load, Gino sprawled on the floor does not leave the strategic location of the eyes and my hand on the handle to stop the machine! And yes I can not watch the strategic location and be ready to stop! " And I can not load and leave the machine running slowly! Because if it derails and is not stopped immediately, and bin it all and then twists it takes to repair the enormous size! Whereas if it derailed just a few laps
wrench and a bit of dexterity everything returns to normal. I incorporated the biodynamic preparations of plants and covered everything with a good layer of straw that Stéphane old farmer gave me in Cannet. And in three months I begin to use it. Will arise again the eternal question of the load and the spreader that derail! I would find a solution! Between
I did my first treatment on trees in reserve from algae, boron, calcined clay and a thin copper. I'll do two more and then I'll start in February on the few peach trees that remain.
I had planned to replant hundreds of peach trees on two plots at each site. But I can not find the plants I want! I'll end up buying maybe only the rootstock and the graft myself varieties I want. That's really complicated these nursery! I'm really too small for the professionals and really too big for the fans!!
to graft myself two year delay fruit set! ah, patience! It's one thing I must learn! Good until I make my plots even better! With
Lucien, yesterday we went to dig up wild cherry to rootstock and we planted directly in place. They will be grafted crest this summer. We
(with Lucien) replanted the bed of verbena. It was all overgrown with grass and the line was in the old sense of alignment! Now that I have restructured the plot at planting fig trees was not at all parallel. It is now in it's common sense and good weed! I
remains the collection of mint that I already wanted to do in May !!!!! and then I have a strawberry variety, the "granny", I would not like losing and I should have done in the spring, but I too much fluff.
We had our first meeting of the management group at the end of the small rainy season where I have done all the assessments. It is always a highlight for me these meetings. The second will not be long. I have the goal of reducing the number of contract and does not increase the price! I will wish to
daily to do what needs to be done without 12 hours a day in summer and do not always take over contract for still more workers!! fewer contracts, fewer workers! he'll have to find balance.
In all cases, it is really too great to be your peasant to do great job and besides you know all.

My Response Evaluations 2009

Since when do you contract with the firm?

* I am in partnership with amap Dracénie since the emergence of my project (stimulated by them!) In late 2002.

What did you feel involved?
* A citizen activist movement.

What were the successes of the season?
* fill the baskets anyway, even if it was not what I wanted! A short season, the earth has warmed very late and severe thunderstorms in early September have hastened the end. Lucien's disease (my boyfriend) has an effect on my mood, my questions, my energy, and it is not finished. Table grapes are entered into production and I am very happy about the choice of varieties (even if it must be completed) and sequencing. I managed to contain diseases and weeds, it encourages me. A variety of
greengage (Oullins) started its production. I have not yet grasped the harvest maturity! Wait until they fall or harvest them like I did a little firm.
The workshops stimulated by this schedule complicated!

What were the disappointments of the season? *
death of peach which represents 6 years of working with all that that entails, but also a potential of 7 tons of peaches spread over two months ie 7.8kg fishing contract by week. A violent blow, a wound still open, questioning wide. *
production of strawberries planted in 2009 very random and poor quality (fortunately there were strawberries planted in 2008 that really assured and the ones I planted in fall 2008 with seed production house)
* catastrophe watermelons
* difficulties in carrying out the harvest apples. Although normally the second year of planting, we do not count on a crop.

What do you like most about this partnership?
* the "working together"

What you like least?
* so much intimacy for me that I'm always on the emotional! It's tiring, but so great!!

income?
* the minimum wage! And that's really cool. It gives me great courage and determination. In 2004, the first season, my income was 416 € !

Employees?
* Stephanie, 4 days per week over 7 months and this season an additional salaried summer.

workshops and events on the farm?
* is always difficult to organize them is 'eating' energy, but at the same time it is a shared need and a window to the outside world. There is never too much.

Continue the partnership?
* yes! A little! To go through with the project!

Notes: * In
recount this little review, I was surprised that few of you have understood what is meant by "death of peach" and the difficulty of starting a tree farm in bio in amap.
* I have been so moved by all your kind words that give me courage and determination.
* In all cases, a huge thank you to all. Without this 'working together', I would not believe in that other possible world. And even if it's a start, it does it is so.
Attached quantities distributed and the results of your assessments. I am at your disposal if you wish to consult for answers to questions that can not be put in box!!
I will do my best to be present at your meetings.
I would also like to thank, commend all your hard work on our amap, be it at individual and collective, and more broadly between the AMAP. Our reasons are many and varied, but it is really running this other world. I wish from my heart that we have everyone,
the courage, the determination to go until the very end of our belief in respect, love and sharing.
For my part, with Sylvain, I went AMAP in Latvia! They came (Latvians) visit us and they came away with lots of ideas, references and now it starts there. We will leave this spring to finalize everything. This is a program that develops URGENCI swarming in eastern countries entered the community. The funding comes from the 'Fondation de France'.
I participate in national trade group, and working arborists in amap. We still do not receive little funding for our three days in the last year, which can compensate the travel and accommodation of participants. Our second meeting is scheduled
end of the year in Alsace.
This weekend, with CREAMAP we amap in Corsica! partnership is emerging with Cooperative Alima (7 fruit growers) and our regions. We were 6 regions represented and we have worked to ensure that these producers are labeled AB producers. Indeed since the popularity of the products AB, Spain and Morocco have expanded their ranges and also fall on the great and all powerful market
! Corsican and our dive. All the efforts put in place for 20 years to drown this sacrosanct "market economy". These
'ballads' are for me my vacation! The meetings that I make are very rich and promising belief, faith, etc. .... when I doubt, I think the efforts of one or this one on his mother earth. And I'm not really in a catastrophic situation. I like this link between us all, he feeds me. Results of Evaluations 2009

This 2009 season, it was important for the management group that amapiens (You!) Come over on the farm. I dug the brains to try to clarify the possibilities of workshops over a year. Then we had put on paper so that each partner can formalize its possibilities! I am well aware that everyone has a different logic! It was a bit
bazaar! And I have not had time to centralize your wishes and opportunities. But it had the immense merit of opening a door in your imagination! Many of you have questioned and we participated in a workshop. The system tables
Michel is not bad, even if everyone can not "open" this thing. It is true that those who did not have internet ...... is shifted. I deeply regret and am disappointed that the technique does not solve everything!! I'm glad to have you received on the farm! Glad to share a little piece of my daily life and especially to have been able to ground. And certainly the fruit of the workshop is by no means negligible, and whew. During these workshops I met women (most participants), men, some with their children daily, their concerns, their perspectives on life.
A beautiful window on the outside! Many thanks. Come on the farm with your children, big and small, we pass a good time under the sun. The
Sunday, September 27 is the feast of grapes, or that of summer or the ending of the season or the fall! in all cases that Sunday is the feast in my gardens. The operation
grape juice is to harvest grapes, crush (crowd) and then press it to squeeze out its juice. You leave with the fresh grape juice!! it's fun guaranteed. Seals must be provided, secateurs, to filter coarse sieve, especially bottles, canisters, etc. cubi ..... it will happen on the site
Rondin from 10h to 15h, even in bad weather. (I need two volunteers on Saturday for the preparations). Some sterilize the juice, freeze the other, I invite you to share your recipes on the yahoo group so that everyone organized.
The previous letter, I mentioned my desire to make a propagation greenhouse. Christian has announced to help me achieve it. It's great. There is work like that on the farm, if they are done without the 'doing' are possible if not horribly expensive. But doing a number of application expertise. A peasant (and even a peasant !!!!) is not bad! Otherwise it would not peasant! but some are too specific! So many came to your specific skills. In the genre, Jean-Luc and Sebastian built the house to house the pump reservoirs. It is all cracked and I pass every day and every day I thank Jean-Luc
and Sebastian. I put a half-century to the end, it was not square and finally I would have not made ! I left the makeshift pallet and old sheet collapses with each stroke of wind, I grumbled, and finally the pump would have matured much faster! thank you, thank you!
How to turn a bad mood are delighted!
It is urgent to limit the exuberant vegetation of abandoned fields encompassing the gardens of the log. There is a law that prohibits leaving rural abandoned his land! That one is not really enforced. So, I'll do a little housekeeping! Because it is already too intrusive. And like that I can repeat an experiment RCW. Was the kind of thing where Lucien
gave me a hand seriously! Is not this autumn as it can. Sure, it's difficult then this workshop! He asks the stuff is dangerous, etc. .... but it had done for the hill reservoir. Advertise!
We arrived late in the season. If the weather is nice with us, strawberries will be there until frost. With the coolness of autumn, they picked up the pace and fruit are bigger. But beware, the rain is the enemy of ripe fruits! There will still be a few melons and grapes and then it will be like
spring strawberry-flavor. I always regret those beautiful distro where loading crushes the van and tables distrib. But at the same time I'm so glad that I HS of 'drop' a bit. It scares me! I feel that if I loose, I collapse. Real problem that returns season after season. We (the management group) have not yet found
possible answers. And I am always afraid that I will not get up. This season, we expected more than hired labor, for I have a little less time in the summer! We had not anticipated the death of peach! So I forced on annual crops! Over flat beds, more plantations, more
watering, more crops, and still have more hours than the 2008 season, which I thought was already at a record! So all these are more the solution. But where is she? After the mourning
peach, my big disappointment is the watermelons that I stripped and then I'm very worried about apples! They fall before they mature and, despite my vigilance, I never understood the carpo. I must understand! Because the orchard will begin production next year.
By cons I am very proud of table grapes! In these different varieties and quantity. In quality, I still find it! Especially on the gauge. For melons, too, am glad the number of varieties has been refined and performance is quite acceptable. Finally, I found the way to get a
quality and quantity per plant tomato acceptable. Again I am very happy. We had an excess at some point, but for me it's good to have known!
The small orchard of fig trees planted this winter shoot really well. I was afraid a little help! I can not find time to install irrigation. But I managed and they have really grown. By the last plantation cons of apple trees, for lack of time to treat them, is not its top. It is not
cat, but I'm a little disappointed. Fortunately we were able to install watering time and have not missed too much water. But then tying (tying guardians) and weeding have not been followed.
The rain last Wednesday allowed me to work the soil for planting of strawberries that we eat the fruit in April 2010. I'm not late, but soon. I'm still climbing Butes (that's how it's best) and it is no small matter! Of doing! I do this work this morning. And then you have to irrigate then unroll the plastic. I planned a planting workshop Saturday. That's
the easiest, but the longest! it takes me an hour to 3 cases (120 plants) and there are 2000 plants! But yes these are the plants that had taken a lump early August and this is the first time I'm on the farm. It worked well, I'm satisfied. Now, it is necessary that the planting works well too.
Ohlàlà, I look outside and the sky is just weird! Clouds and beautiful colors of red! "Red in the morning, rain is on the way" for land yes! not for the strawberry harvest of tomorrow! never happy, too demanding
Should I finish and climbs on the tractor to mount these Butes between peach dead! Difficult, but I like! Must change with each pass of the plow and able to go super straight! You're a fly which passes or a gadfly or you sneeze and it's damn! or just the land becomes more soft or more hard tack it pulls to one side or the other and it dropped the fucking you got right!!
So welcome back, I can not accompany Gino is a day of harvest! But he told me that he really did not need me! then! And Arthur and Felix at the Lycée! It is better that I stay in strawberries! phew pace will put in place where every family member has a definite place. The holiday was good, but it complicated when I work them thoroughly and they are on vacation! Fortunately we are lucky to have River.
Welcome back to all your children, all mothers with their little tears of emotion! Dads I know! No experience! but welcome back too!!
and remember the operation grape juice. Isabelle

This slide shows us the discovery workshop abstract painting to Res The milling, one of three workshops "Speak in color" which is held during the week at 2009 Blue Lunel.

Workshops discovery of abstract painting: "talk in color" Blue
Week 2009, Lunel
Moderator: Malena Merlo

the initiative of LINC Country Lunel, three workshops "Speak in color" it took place during the week blue: one at the residence The milling , another at the Residence La Roselière and the last at The RM Logis de Haute Roche.

These workshops were primarily a way to offer artistic activity as a medium of meetings and discoveries. The painting has been discussed primarily as a medium of nonverbal communication that enrich and open channels to the aid relationship. The gesture and choice of colors and the subtle language become a collective expression of a moment of exchange and sharing where the relaxation of body and expressive one another become a source of pleasure and complicity.

At the end of each workshop session, the exercises gestures made by both residents as caregivers, are combined to compose a collective work that is immediately framed and hung in the living space.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and excitement!
